Fitness 30 Minutes A Day

To stay healthy in life it is necessary to work the body.  The human body is a dynamic, incredible form with muscles and organs that are meant to move, rather than remain sedentary. Exercise is how the body maintains itself, manages waste removal, and ensures a healthy state of well-being.

The recommended duration of exercise is AT LEAST 30 minutes per day.  Thirty minutes a day is all it takes for your body to perform a multitude of tasks.  The aerobic benefit of exercise increases oxygen intake, pumps blood through the body and to the muscles at a faster rate which aids in the removal of oxidants and toxins.

Exercising also burns calories, tones muscles, and builds endurance.  This is exceptionally important for children who have become more sedentary in the last few decades as evidenced by a skyrocketing percentage of obesity cases.  Managing weight gain is necessary for adults as well.  A leaner body has less risk of various illnesses and negative conditions such as hypertension, high blood sugar and bad cholesterol levels. It also strengthens the bodie's immune system to ward off colds and viruses.  

The best part of regular exercise is in the daily benefits you receive.  Exercise stimulates the production of endorphins.  Endorphins are chemical hormones naturally produced in the body to decrease pain, and give you a feeling of well being throughout your body.  It is this mental well being that delivers benefits to many other facets of life.  When you feel good, you are more likely to smile and be in a good mood which, of course, affects how people around you interact with you.  So don't just sit around and watch tv, get out and exercise for 30 minutes a day!
